Shanxi releases No.9 order for tackling heavy-polluted weather

On 30 October, the air pollution prevention and control working group office of Shanxi released the 2019 No.9 order for tackling heavy-polluted weather.
As required by the office, the orange warning was launched at 12:00 of 31 October and will end at 12:00 of 4 November in Taiyuan, Jinzhong, Yangquan, Linfen, Changzhi, Yuncheng, Jincheng, Xinzhou and "1+30" area of Lvliang. All local authorities should inform related counties (cities or districts) and enterprises timely, carry out precautionary measures according to the updated version of emergency emission reduction list, strengthen inspections practically in key counties, districts and enterprises, ensure the emission reduction measures are actually implemented, further enhance air quality consultation mechanism and adjust early warning levels and schedule duly.
