Coking, iron and steel companies in Handan complete ultra-low emission transformation

In May, Handan government implemented the ultra-low emission transformation plan targeting industries including iron and steel, coking and coal-fired power generation to keep up with the most stringent international standards in a bid to improve air quality. Up to now, 18 iron and steel companies have completed the transformation for 51 sintering machines in normal operation; 21 coking companies have completed the transformation for 50 coking furnaces in normal operation.
