Zambian government tightens mining permits

Mulenga, the Permanent Secretary of Zambian Mining Ministry, explained on 20 October the country would award mining permits to those companies which can make the most of them and provide jobs to the country. He noted that the Mining Ministry encourages applicants to build joint ventures to raise effective finance, and hopes investors to find cooperating partners and integrated resources to avoid project waste.
