Ministry of Commerce: China, U.S. step up negotiation on first-stage agreement text

On 17 October, Gao Feng, spokesman of Ministry of Commerce, noted at the routine press conference that China and the United States have been keeping close communication in all ways after the new round of China-U.S. senior-level trade talk. The two parties are stepping up negotiation on detailed text of the first-stage agreement and try to reach an agreement as early as possible on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and win-win. Meanwhile, China and the United States are discussing arrangements for the next stage.
