EU makes preliminary anti-dumping decision on steel hub from China

On October 10, 2019, the European Commission issued an announcement to make an affirmative preliminary anti-dumping determination on the steel wheel hub originating in China. It decided to impose a six-month temporary anti-dumping duty on the enterprises involved from the next day of the announcement in the official gazette. See the table below for the tax rate. The CN codes of the products involved in the case are ex 8708 70 10, ex 8708 70 99 and ex 8716 90 90 (Taric codes are 870870 10 80, 8708 70 10 85, 8708 70 99 20, 8708 70 99 80, 8716 90 90 95 and 8716 90 90 97). The dumping and injury investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. The injury analysis period is from January 1, 2015 to the end of the dumping and injury investigation period.
On February 15, 2019, the European Commission issued a notice stating that, in response to the application of the association of the Association of European Wheel Manufacturers on behalf of the manufacturers whose steel wheel hub production accounts for 25% of the production of similar products in the EU filed on January 3, 2019, an anti-dumping investigation was conducted on the steel wheel hub originating in China.
On February 15, 2019, the European Commission issued a notice stating that, in response to the application of the association of the Association of European Wheel Manufacturers on behalf of the manufacturers whose steel wheel hub production accounts for 25% of the production of similar products in the EU filed on January 3, 2019, an anti-dumping investigation was conducted on the steel wheel hub originating in China.
