MIIT starts on-site review for enterprises applying to enter steel scrap processing industry in Lanzhou

According to the arrangement of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), two enterprises in Gansu applied to become the seventh batch of enterprises accessing to iron scrap and steel scrap processing industry. On the morning of October 8, experts from Energy Conservation Office of MIIT went to Gansu Hengrunde Metals Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. in Honggu of Lanzhou and Gaolan Jielin Steel Scrap Collecting and Distributing Co., Ltd. in Gaolan to launch on-site review for enterprises applying to access to steel scrap processing industry.
It is said that Gansu Hengrunde Metals Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. in Honggu of Lanzhou has built two sorting and processing lines for four different raw materials including heavy steel scrap, middle steel scrap, small steel scrap and light steel scrap with newly-added annual output of 400,000t, forming a regional clean steel raw material processing and delivery center for enterprises producing metals in Northwest China. Located in Heishi of Gaolan, Gaolan Jielin Steel Scrap Collecting and Distributing Co., Ltd. has constructed a clean steel scrap project with production capacity of 600,000tpy. The company built a new crusher production line and facilities such as excavator and bridge crane for production, processing and detection. It also has auxiliary facilities such as electric system, water supply and drainage system and road and afforestation.
From October 8 to 9, these experts made on-site inspection of workshop and plant of the two companies, reviewed all the documents and facilities and communicated with these enterprises on their production and operation.
