In September, prices of silicon metal increased early this month, but downstream consumers and traders were inactive. Therefore, the prices started decreasing soon after. For chemical grade silicon metal, as the supply is more than demand, the prices dropped slightly this month. In export market, the prices were stable due to scarce deals.
