Taiwan Customs Department announced on October 9, 2019 that in light of economic interest of the public, Taiwan decided not to impose countervailing duty on certain carbon steel plates from the mainland China although Taiwan previously prepared to impose such duties for five years since October 9
On April 16, 2018, Taiwan recorded to launch a countervailing investigation on certain imported carbon steel plates from the mainland. On July 12, 2019, Taiwan made the final judge of countervailing on certain carbon steel plates from the mainland.
