Linfen releases 2019-2020 autumn/winter industrial enterprises staggering peak production control program

On 26 September, 2019, Linfen municipal government released the "2019-2020 autumn/winter industrial enterprises staggering peak production control program", effective from 1 October, 2019 to 31 March, 2020 for counties, cities and districts in plain and from 15 November, 2019 to 15 March, 2020 for counties in mountainous area.
1. Iron and steel industry (including foundries with blast furnace and ferroalloys producers)
Class I enterprises are allowed to take emission reduction measures independently based on actual situation; Class II enterprises are required to cut production by 30%.
2. Coking industry
Class I enterprises are allowed to take emission reduction measures independently based on actual situation; Class II enterprises are required to prolong coking process to 36 hours and coking process of cleaning type heat recovery coke oven to about 150 hours; Class III enterprises are required to prolong coking process to 48 hours and coking process of cleaning type heat recovery coke oven to about 180 hours; Class IV enterprises are required to stop feeding coal to coking chamber of coke oven.
3. Foundry industry
Class I enterprises are allowed to keep normal production while the rest are required to halt production.
