New round of China-U.S. trade talk ends in Washington

On 10-11 October, a new round of China-U.S. trade talk was held in Washington, attended by Liu He, member of CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, Vice Premier and chief representative of Sino-U.S. comprehensive economic dialogue, and U.S. trade representative and Treasury Secretary. Under the direction of the important consensus made by two presidents, the two parties had a frank, efficient and constructive discussion on economic and trade issues of common concern. Substantial progresses were made in agriculture, intellectual property right protection, exchange rate, financial service, trade cooperation expansion, technology transfer and dispute settlement. The two sides also discussed subsequent arrangements for the talk and agreed to march forward to agreement together.
