1． Market Highlight
In September, as downstream titanium dioxide market saw higher prices, Panzhihua-based ilmenite price increased further. High titanium slag and reduced Ilmenite concentrate prices increased according to higher titanium concentrate prices. Titanium tetrachloride prices declined due to poor demand. Titanium sponge prices remained firm, so titanium mill product prices showed uptrend.
Encouraged by the increasing titanium scrap prices, Chinese high grade ferrotitanium market witnessed higher prices. However, the international market continued to see poor demand from end users with decreasing prices.
