NDRC: China's ten non-ferrous metals production up by 4.6% YOY in Jan-Aug

According to data released by the National Development and Reform Commission, in August, the output of China's ten non-ferrous metals was 4.91 million tons, up by 4.4% YOY. Among them, the output of copper was 800,000t, an increase of 8.1% YOY; the output of primary aluminum was 2.97 million tons, down by 0.3% YOY; the output of lead was 480,000t, an increase of 13.3% YOY; the output of zinc was 530,000t, an increase of 18.9% YOY; the output of alumina was 6.04 million tons, up by 3.5% YOY.
From January to August, the output of China's ten non-ferrous metals was 38.63 million tons, up by 4.6% YOY. Among them, the output of copper was 6.15 million tons, an increase of 5.8% YOY; the output of primary aluminum was 23.47 million tons, an increase of 1.4% YOY; the output of lead was 3.96 million tons, an increase of 18.8% YOY; the output of zinc was 4.03 million tons, an increase of 8.2% YOY; the output of alumina was 49.88 million tons, an increase of 5.8% YOY.
