Taiwan decides to not levy countervailing duty and anti-dumping duty on five types of steel products from mainland

The deliberation committee for rate of duty under Taiwan's financial department decided on September 26 to take the advice of trade investigation committee under Taiwan's economic department and didn't levy countervailing duty and anti-dumping duty on five types of steel products imported from the mainland for the time being. These products included special cold-rolling carbon steel products, hot-rolling stainless steel products, carbon steel plate, special galvanizing and zinc alloy flat-rolled steel products and cold-rolling stainless steel products. However, there is still a system for flexible review and change and Taiwan can restart to impose duty based on market conditions.
