EU announces the expiration of anti-dumping measures on China's pre-stressed non-alloy steel wires and strands

On September 26, 2019, the European Commission announced that the anti-dumping measures for prefabricated non alloy steel wires and steel strands originating or imported from China are due to expire on June 6, 2020. Enterprises of EU member states may submit a written application for the second sunset review of the case to the European Commission within three months from the date of promulgation of this bulletin to the expiration date mentioned above.
On February 16, 2008, the European Commission filed anti-dumping investigations on prestressed non alloy steel wires and strands originating in China. On May 13, 2009, the European Commission issued a notice to make anti-dumping final orders on prestressed non alloy steel wires and strands originating in China. On May 8, 2014, in response to the application of the European Association of Prestressed Wire Information Services, the European Union filed anti-dumping investigations on the prefabricated non alloy steel wires and stranded wires originating in China. On June 5, 2015, the European Union made anti-dumping sunset review final orders for prestressed non alloy steel wires and strands originating in China. Customs codes for products involved are ex72171090, ex72172090, ex73121061, ex73121065 and ex73121069.
