15 Chinese steel mills sign "green development declaration"

On 7 September, the iron and steel industry forum for celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the New China that was hosted by China Iron and Steel Association was held in Beijing. During the forum, Baowu Group, Ansteel Group, Shougang Group and other 12 steel mills jointly signed and issued the "green development declaration for China iron and steel enterprises" and expressed the willingness to accept supervision of the society and public, marking a new start that China iron and steel industry carries out the idea of green development.
