China makes solemn representation to U.S. on cancellation of additional tariffs

On 5 September, Gao Feng, spokesman of Ministry of Commerce stated at a press conference that China holds sufficient countermeasures against U.S. additional tariffs and considers cancellation of further additional tariffs on Chinese goods worth USD550 billion as the issue deserved attention to prevent further escalation of the trade friction. According to him, China is making solemn representation to the United States on this issue.
