Daye Special Steel announced on late September 2 that the company held an interim board meeting and approved the Proposal on the Change of Company Name and Stock Short Name after deliberation. The company's full name will be changed into CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. and the stock short name will be CITIC Special Steel; the stock code will be unchanged.
The company claimed that the name change is based on demand of the company's strategy, business and development after the listing of CITIC Group's steel sector.
