Sichuan strengthens law enforcement on coal mine safety production

According to news from Contingency Management Department in Sichuan, Sichuan has strengthened law enforcement on coal mine safety production so far in 2019 to crack down on illegal activities and ensure the safety of people's lives and property. Although some achievements have been made, the coal mine safety production situation in Sichuan is still not optimistic.
In order to reduce the tragedies such as the gas accident that happened in Guangyuan Wangcang Houxin Coal Co., Ltd. on July 28th and caused three death and two injuries, the Contingency Management Department in Sichuan has formulated 11 major tasks and arranged special law enforcement activities on coal mine safety production.
Since the beginning of this year, all levels of coal mine safety supervision and supervision departments in Sichuan have inspected 349 coal mines, stopped 295 sets of equipment from being used and imposed fines of RMB15.256 million (USD2,160,325) for illegal activities.
