NDRC collected suggestions on Interim Management Measures on Recycling Lead Storage Batteries on August 14th. These measures are applicable to all kinds of super-speed batteries including power batteries. The suggestion draft mentioned that the Chinese government implements the lead battery recycling target responsibility system and formulates the lead storage battery standard recovery rate target. By the end of 2025, the standard recovery rate should reach more than 60% and the government will adjust the recycling target according to the development of the industry.
