1. Market Highlights
In July, as prices for almost all tungsten products decreased in different degrees compared with last month, suppliers were reluctant to sell out their products although downstream demand was soft for a long time. Many APT plants had to stop production, either did some tungsten carbide powder factories. Nevertheless, discouraged by the stagnant market and the newly development of Fanya event, most downstream consumers only placed orders from hand to mouth. Therefore, the tungsten spot market kept getting into the stalemated status.
