Zhangshu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi announced recently that in order to implement the national and provincial decision-making plan on eliminating backward production capacity of iron and steel and resolving excess production capacity of the iron and steel industry, crack down on illegal production of "substandard steel" and related behaviors, prevent the resurgence of dead ash, strengthen public tip-offs and media supervision, Zhangshu decided to carry out the policy of rewarding public tip-offs for illegal production of substandard steels after research. Scope of tip-offs: enterprises using scrap iron and steel to produce "substandard steel" or related production behavior, enterprises using "substandard steel" to process steel products or relevant production behavior, illegal filing or construction of steel projects, behaviors such as resuming production by using dismantled intermediate frequency furnace, etc.
