Commissioning of Xinfeng 950mm stainless steel continuous rolling project to begin at the end of 2019

At present, the construction of 950mm stainless steel continuous rolling green production line in Wuzhou Xinfeng Special Steel Co., Ltd. is progressing steadily. It is expected that the whole project will be completed by the end of this year and enter the production commissioning stage.
It is learnt that Wuzhou Xinfeng Special Steel Co., Ltd. is the core enterprise of Wuzhou Recycled Stainless Steel Product Industrial Park and one of the key projects for Wuzhou City to undertake industrial transfer from Guangdong. Since the construction began in 2013, it has been put into production. By 2017, 500,000 tons of stainless steel smelting, refining, continuous casting and related auxiliary projects have been completed and put into full operation.
In order to improve the production technology and product quality, in April this year, Xinfeng 950mm stainless steel continuous rolling green production line, which is designed by CFHI Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., manufactured by CFHI Tianjin Co., Ltd., and designed by Beijing University of Science and Technology, was officially launched. Qiao Xiaodong, deputy general manager of Xinfeng Special Steel Co., Ltd. in Wuzhou City, said that civil construction was under way and steel structure construction of the plant was started successively. Equipment installation was expected to start in September, and the whole project is planned to complete by the end of this year and enter the production commissioning stage. According to the current calculation, after the project construction, the production cost can be reduced by 5% to 10%.
It is reported that the company also plans to upgrade the first phase of the project, which is expected to be completed synchronously with the second phase by the end of the year, to achieve the project goal of building a 1 million ton stainless steel production line.
