Brazil's crude steel production down by 1.4% YOY in H1 2019

According to statistics released by Brazil Steel Institute, Brazil produced 17.2 million tons of crude steel in H1 2019, down by 1.4% YOY.
In H1 2019, Brazil sold 92,000t of crude steel, up by 1.3% YOY, and exported 6.7 million tons crude steel, down by 2.4% YOY.
Brazil Steel Institute revised the production guidance for this year. It initially expected the production to rise by 2.2% YOY but now cuts the YOY increase to 0.4% with an adjusted volume of 35.5 million tons.
