Taiwan announces final CVD decision on carbon steel plate from mainland China

On July 12, 2019, Taiwan's competent financial authorities issued a public announcement, making a final countervailing duty (CVD) decision on carbon steel plate from mainland China: the subsidy rate will be 27.36% on all Chinese mainland producers/exporters, including Laiwu Iron and Steel Group Yinshan Profile Steel Co., Ltd., Shagang Group, Zhangjiagang Shajing Heavy Plate Co., Ltd., Zhongpu (Handan) Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Beijing Puyang International Energy Management Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., etc. Involved products were under HS codes 72085110100, 72085110208, 72085110306, 72085120000, 72085130008, 72085140006, 72085210207, 72085220205, 72085230203, 72089010005, 72089021002, 72089030001, 72089040009, 72111410101, 72111410209, 72111410307, 72111420207, 72111430205, 72111440203, 72254000908 and 72269100905.
Interested parties shall submit written opinions to the investigatory apparatus, located at No. 13 Tacheng Street, Taipei, within 20 days from the date of publication of this announcement
Taiwan conducted CVD investigation on carbon steel plate from mainland China on April 16, 2018 and issued preliminary CVD decision on involved products from mainland China on May 20, 2019.
