Taiwan makes final decision on hot rolled carbon steel in Mainland China

On July 12, 2019, Taiwan's competent financial authorities issued an announcement to make final anti-dumping and countervailing rulings on imported hot-rolled flat steel originating in mainland China: Angang Lianfang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., Taigang Stainless Hong Kong Co., Ltd., Fujian Fuxin Special Steel Co., Ltd., Weihai International Co., Ltd., Guangdong Jirui Science and Technology Collection, Youth League Co., Ltd., Shanghai JFE Commercial Association, Fujian Dingxin Technology Co., Ltd., The subsidies of above producers/exporters in mainland China are 43.86%; Fujian Fuxin Special Steel Co., Ltd. and the exporter, Shanghai JFE Commercial Association, are 26.68%. The dumping margin of other producers/exporters is 32.58%. The tax numbers of the products involved are 721911, 721912, 721913, 721914, 721921, 721922, 721923, 721924, 722011 and 722012.

On April 16, 2018, Taiwan launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on hot-rolled flat steel in mainland China. On May 20, 2019, the Taiwan region made a preliminary anti-dumping and anti-subsidy decision on the products involved in the case on the mainland of China.
