U.S. announces final decision on steel racks from China

On July 18, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced final anti-dumping and countervailing rulings on steel racks imported from China: (1) It ruled that the dumping margin of Nanjing Dongsheng Shelf Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a compulsory responding enterprise, was 18.06%, the general dumping margin of China was 144.50%, and that of other exporters/producers with separate tariffs was 18.06% .(2) The subsidy rate of Nanjing Dongsheng Shelf Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a compulsory responding enterprise, is 1.50%, 102.23% for 16 non-responding enterprises and 1.50% for other Chinese exporters/producers. This case involves products under HTSUS codes No. 7326.90.8688, 9403.20.0080 and 9403.90.8041, and parts of products under 7308.90.3000, 7308.90.6000, 7308.90.9590 and 9403.20.0090. The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) is expected to make a final industrial damage ruling on September 3, 2019.

On February 26, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a preliminary anti-dumping sanction on steel shelves imported from China.
