Taiwan WalsinLihwa Group to start construction of USD1 billion stainless steel project in Jul

According to information from Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Yantai, from January to May 2019, Yantai newly approved 44 projects with investors from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Yantai won an investment of USD1 billion from Taiwan WalsinLihwa Group, which can help to gather downstream and upstream stainless steel enterprises in Yantai.
According to the introduction, the first phase of this project is to build stainless steel intelligent deep processing and is planned to start construction from this July. The project is located in Daji Avenue in Development Zone of Yantai, covering an area of 968 mu and trying to build the most advanced stainless steel rolling production lines.
