1. Market Highlights
Markets of Chinese PrNd, dysprosium, terbium, gadolinium, holmium and erbium related prices showed uptrend in May due to the tight rare earth ore supply and consumers' wait-and-see attitudes. Prices of lanthanum related products slid in May and consumers were in no hurry to purchase. Prices of cerium related products dropped firstly and then picked up in May. The markets saw slow buying activities as consumers were in no hurry to replenish stocks.
