China's coal imports up by 22.99% YOY in May

According to the statistics released by General Administration of Customs (GAC) on June 10, China imported 27.467 million tons of coal in May, up by 5.134 million tons or 22.99% from the same period last year and up by 2.168 million tons or 8.57% from April.
From January to May 2019, China imported 127.388 million tons of coal in total, up by 5.6% from the same period last year.
