  • MIIT: to strengthen guidance on electric steelmaking development

    On 25 May, an official from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) revealed at the 2019 (the second) China Electric Steelmaking Scientific Development Forum that MIIT will work together with National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and other related authorities to study and formulate policies and measures guiding development of electric steel making, aiming to create a policy environment that is good for the development of electric steelmaking and realize the goal of optimizing layout structure of iron and steel long and short processes.
