Fujian Luoyuan Minguang's converter steelmaking project launches

On May 30, the converter steelmaking project (1x120t) of Fujian Sansteel Group's Fujian Luoyuan Minguang Steel Corp saw the first pile driving, with CERI as the general contractor. The pile driving was a sign that on-site construction of this project kicked off.
The main content of the project's construction includes: building a new 120t converter (with the largest steel tapping volume of 150t) and a 120t LF furnace, building a beam blank caster with five machines and streams and auxiliary systems that can produce 1.44 million tons of qualified casting billet annually. The total construction of this project will last for 15 months.
