Shiheng Special Steel to start construction of Tai'an special steel project

On 30 May, Shanghai Baoye Group won the bidding of Shiheng Special Steel Group and became the EPC contractor of Tai'an special steel project. Located within Shiheng Special Steel Group in Shiheng town industrial zone, Feicheng, Tai'an, Shandong, the project is a part of Tai'an special construction steel industrial cluster.
In H2 of 2018, Shandong released 2018-2025 development plan for advanced iron and steel manufacturing industrial base in Shandong and required to accelerate construction of industrial clusters, including Tai'an special construction steel industrial cluster. As most production capacities of the cluster are settled in Shiheng Special Steel Group, the company will have a production capacity of over five million tons of special construction steel after the project is completed and its competitiveness will be further strengthened.
