On June 1, Coal India Ltd. said in a statement that it produced 46.59 million tons of coal in May 2019, down by 1% from 47.12 million tons in the same period of last year.
Preliminary data showed the company sold 52.09 million tons of coal in the month, down by 1.4% from 52.81 million tons in the same period of last year.
