20 new coal mines found in China in 2018

According to data released by Ministry of Natural Resources recently, 153 new mines were found in 2018 based on initial statistics, including 20 coal mines (14 large ones, 4 medium ones and 2 small ones); phased exploration was carried out in 470 mines, including 40 coal mines.
In terms of coal, 9.747 billion tons were newly found in Inner Mongolia; 4.711 billion tons were newly found in Shaanxi; 511 million tons were newly found in Xinjiang; 697 million tons were newly found in Guizhou; 210 million tons were newly found in Gansu.
