Taiwan issues preliminary determination on Certain flat-rolled products of stainless steel from Mainland China

On May 20, 2019, Taiwan's competent financial authorities issued a public announcement to make preliminary anti-dumping and anti-subsidy rulings on imported stainless steel hot-rolled flat steel from mainland China: preliminary rulings are that there is dumping and subsidy of products involved in mainland China, but did not damage related industries in Taiwan, so temporary anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures will not be implemented on the products involved
On April 16, 2018, Taiwan launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on stainless steel hot-rolled flat steel in mainland China.
. Taiwan's financial authorities expect the final ruling of the case to be made within 60 days from the date of the initial ruling . The case concerns products under the coordinated tariff codes are 721911, 721912, 721913, 721914, 721921, 721922, 721923, 721924, 722011 and 722012.
