Taiwan issues affirmative preliminary determination in CVD of imports of Mainland China's Carbon Steel Plate

On May 20, 2019, Taiwan's competent financial authorities issued a public announcement, making a preliminary decision on the anti-subsidy of carbon steel plates imported from the mainland of China: there is government subsidies for the products involved in the case in the mainland of China, but it does not harm the relevant industries in the Taiwan region, so temporary anti-subsidy measures will not be implemented for the products involved. Taiwan's financial authorities expect the final ruling of the case to be made within 60 days from the date of the initial ruling.
