Coal transport capacity of Tangshan-Huhhot Railway triples after capacity expansion

Capacity expansion of Tangshan-Huhhot Railway was finished on 21 May, and coal transport capacity tripled. Along with coal prices picking up and the demand rising in recent years, Tangshan-Huhhot Railway transported 50 million tons of coal in 2018, the capacity limit of the railway. After the capacity expansion of the railway, the interval of 10kt-trains shortens to 10 minutes from 30 minutes before, and the annual transport capacity rose from 50 million tons to 150 million tons.
