    1. Market Highlight

    In April, prices for ilmenite kept stable, but downstream consumers held strong intention of lowering prices; prices for high titanium slag went up; prices for titanium tetrachloride continued to move up; prices for titanium sponge went up; titanium mill products held stable prices, with lots of military used material transactions with large clients while limited transactions for civil used material.

    In April, prices for Chinese titanium dioxide dropped and downstream demand shrunk, and suppliers were not confident about the future market. Export prices for titanium dioxide moved down, and export volume was less than that of last year.
