Xinwuan Iron and Steel to build a 10-million-ton steel plant in Malaysia

On April 24, regarding the cooperation of Sarawak Comprehensive Iron and Steel Industrial Park in Malaysia, a framework agreement was signed by CCCC Industrial Investment Holding Co., Ltd., Hebei Xinwuan Iron and Steel Group and CISDI Group Co., Ltd.
According to the agreement, the three companies will jointly invest and build a comprehensive iron and steel industrial park in Sarawak, Malaysia. Relying on the long-term planning of a large combined steel plant with an annual output of 10 million tons, they will build a large-scale port-vicinity comprehensive industrial park integrating steel metallurgy, building materials, stone processing, port logistics, trade and exhibition.
