WSA: global crude steel output up by 4.9% in Mar

According to the statistics released by the World Steel Association (WSA), global crude steel output in 64 countries that compose the Worldsteel reached 155 million tons in March, up by 4.9% YOY.
In the first quarter (Jan-Mar) this year, global crude steel output reached 444.1 million tons, up by 4.5% YOY. The crude steel output in Asia reached 312.9 million tons, up by 7% YOY; those in Europe reached 42.30 million tons, down by 2% YOY; those in North America reached 30.70 million tons, up by 4% YOY.
In March, the crude steel output in China was 80.30 million tons, up by 10% YOY; those in India was 9.4 million tons, down by 1% YOY; those in Japan was 9.10 million tons, stable YOY; those in Korea was 6.30 million tons, up by 2.8% YOY.
