State Administration for Market Regulation and Standard Administration officially approved and published the national standard Technical Specification for Recycling Waste Lead-acid Batteries. As the first national standard of waste lead-acid battery recycling industry in China, this standard stipulates the treatment methods and management measures for the collection, storage, transportation and transfer of waste lead-acid batteries. The recycling process and responsibility subjects of waste lead-acid batteries are determined, and the dumping of electrolyte and dismantling, breaking and discarding of waste lead-acid batteries are strictly prohibited.
