VAT-rate cutting measures to come into effect from April 1 on in China

On the morning of March 15 when the Second Plenary Session of the Thirteenth National People's Conference of China was closed, a press conference was held and the Chinese Premier Li Keqiang was quoted as saying that from April 1 on China will implement measures on cutting VAT rates and from May 1 on will implement measures on cutting social insurance premium rates.
