In 2018, Hebei cut 12.30 million tons of steel capacity, 10.87 million tons of iron capacity, 3.13 million tons of cement capacity, 8.1 million weight cases of glass capacity, 5.17 million tons of coke capacity and 549,500 kilowatts of thermal power capacity. In addition, it closed all zombie enterprises in steel industry and relocated all 28 heavy pollution enterprises listed in the annual work plan.
