Linyi to shut down iron & steel companies nearby urban area by 2022

It's reported that the urban area of Linyi is surrounded by iron & steel, coking, building ceramic, thermal power and plate companies based on feedbacks from the provincial environmental inspection team. In order to accelerate construction of the port stainless steel industrial base, Linyi will shut down all iron and steel companies located nearby the urban area and require them to move to the newly-built industrial base.
