Songhe Environmental Protection's lead scrap overall utilization project starts

According to reports, on February 23, Xingtai Songhe Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. held a foundation-laying ceremony for the project of waste battery and lead scrap overall utilization in Economic Development Zone of Xinhe County.
With an annual processing capacity of 300,000t, the project covers an area of 260mu has an investment of RMB1.1bn. The project is expected to come on stream in June 2020. After the completion of the project, 200,000 tons of secondary lead and lead alloy and 45,000 tons of plastic raw materials will be produced annually. And Songhe Environmental Protection will become the largest lead scrap disposal enterprise in China, with annual sales of RMB3.5 billion and tax of RMB400 million.
