Iron & steel excess capacity elimination in Chongqing subject to subsidy

General Office of Chongqing Municipal Government recently issued the Detailed Rules for the Administration of Special Subsidy Funds for Iron and Steel Industry Excess Capacity Elimination in Chongqing (the "Rules"). The excess capacity elimination in Chongqing's iron and steel industry is subject to a subsidy of RMB70/t; coal mine areas that eliminate excess capacity will be awarded at RMB6 million per unit.
