In January, Chinese titanium market was slack overall. As for upstream raw materials, prices for ilmenite edged down with limited transactions; prices for high titanium slag edged down and producers still arranged production on sales; prices for titanium tetrachloride edged down with increased supply; prices for titanium sponge edged down and consumers mainly waited on the sidelines; prices for titanium mill products moved down slightly and transactions were still limited.
