Caofeidian to accelerate construction of iron & steel production base

According to an official meeting on 29 January, Caofeidian district plans to carry out 440 projects in 2019 with a total investment of RMB434.67 billion. In terms of accelerating construction of industrial cluster, the district will launch 64 leading industry projects, aiming to create middle-and-high-end modern chemical industry, high-quality iron & steel industry, equipment manufacturing and other leading industries. It will speed up construction of high-quality iron & steel production base by positively introducing a number of iron & steel deep-processing projects as well as integrating and relocating Tangyin Iron & Steel, Tanggang Stainless Steel and Wenfeng Iron & Steel in order to ensure completion of Shougang's phase II project.
