Anhui government inspects and approves capacity replacement project of Fuxin Iron & Steel

On the afternoon of January 28, officials from Anhui Provincial Economic and Information Department and invited experts arrived at Tongling Fuxin Iron & Steel Company ("the Company") to carry out on-site monitoring on its surplus-capacity replacement project. Through this project, the Company will cut its production capacity from 1.3 million tons to 1.18 million tons at a capacity replacement ratio of 1.1:1.
The officials and experts inspected two 550m3 blast furnaces of the Company as well as the land block where a new 1,280m3 furnace will be built under the replacement project. All the experts approved the technical renovation plan the Company formulated for the replacement project, and also gave their suggestions for optimizing.
