Mainstream prices for Chinese indium ingot 99.99%min kept dropping in December. Due to the approaching Christmas holiday, consumers were unwilling to hold excessive inventory in consideration of their cash flow, while producers were eager to sell to recoup funds as they were under financial and repayment pressure. Thus, prices for indium ingot 99.99%min maintained a downtrend. In view of the weak demand from end users and the approaching New Year holiday, insiders expected that indium ingot 99.99%min prices would continue to move down in January 2019.
